Dolphins & Eco Tours

Eco Tours and Dolphin Encounters

Dolphins are frequent visitors to the bay, and are often seen close to shore, playing around the jetty.

Other wildlife frequently seen in Queen Charlotte Sound, Onahau Bay & Mistletoe Bay are little blue penguins, kotuku (grey heron), shags, stingrays, seals, and occasionally orca.

To go further afield by boat, enquire about the eco tours available from Picton.
