Mistletoe Bay is at the head of Onahau Bay in Queen Charlotte Sound, at the top of the South Island. There are many ways to get here.
Our nearest transport hubs are Picton, Havelock and Blenheim, which are easily reached from all over New Zealand.
Domestic flights land regularly at Picton and Blenheim airports.
A 3 hour cruise on one of the interisland ferries links Wellington to Picton.
From either Picton or Havelock, turn at Linkwater and follow the Kenepuru Road for 20km. The turn off to Mistletoe Bay is signposted 300m on the right from the Te Mahia Resort turnoff. Mistletoe Bay is about 1 hours drive from Picton, and 50 mins from Havelock. Day visitors can drive down from our carpark, but we suggest you enjoy the scenic walk down to the waters edge. Guests may park their cars beside their accommodation during their stay. Please note the speed limit of 10 kph as there are pedestrians and cyclists using the road down at all times.
Most Picton operators will provide a scheduled service to and from Mistletoe Bay. The jetty at the Bay is available for loading and unloading but berthing is not permitted. The mooring in the bay is privately owned and is not available for casual use.
